No one could tell who among the three will prevail to collect the most G.S. Yet, Jokovic will never overshadow Nadal and Fedex in kharisma department. It's not easy to explain this. It will remain so, even if, jokovic could tally his to any number above 20. What do you think?

Each year, when you get a sense of Djokovic being or feeling pompous, he looses. It's like he never learns his lesson. This year is no different.

Nadal is gonna hammer Federer on his backhand side and win 3-0.
Djokovic is gonna hammer Thiem on his backhand side and win 3-0.
Even though the results are more than obvious, I'm still going to enjoy watching both matches.

Novak's draw is insanely tough. Now he has to play Thiem who will be a major handful. Imagine if Nadal had Thiem? Thiem could win or take it to 5 sets. Nadal should beat Federer easily in str8's. Nadal has crushed Fed on clay when Fed was younger and faster. I want Fed to win and set up a Roger-Novak match but it's unlikely to happen.

@Wilshman 1 I am a Rafa fan but my brother is a big Novak fan but we both love Roger because his personality. I at start like to hate Novak but now Now I understand he is really victim of fool people and media. He deserve more respect from at least fans I remember 2015 Wimbledon final I support Roger but crowd is very bad then I start to feel for novak but at Same time it motivates him more like Ronaldo. I will always be Rafa fan but no doubt Novak deserve lot of respect.

    • Wilshman 1
      Wilshman 1 Il y a 6 mois

@cr7 I guess I see what you are saying maybe in this way...Federer romped over everyone for years, then Nadal came along and spoiled Federer's reign, and then Djokovic came along and spoiled the Nadal vs Federer show such that the media and an awful lot of fans have a subconscious grudge against Djokovic for spoiling the "party" so to speak that continues to this day? I believe this phenomenon not only to be mostly true but also very hard to end and I feel more sorry for Novak than either of the other two (one for his age disparity and the other for his multiple injuries).

Actually, all history, opinions and bravado aside, as of now they each have a 25% chance of winning - 50/50 each then 50/50 each.

    • Vick Vickson
      Vick Vickson Il y a 6 mois

Have you seen those idiots, they think that sum of chances of each player has to give 100% ! While it can be like this: Thiem 50%, Nadal 80%, and so on, because EACH PLAYER has their own chances i.e. possibility of winning tournament from not probably att all ( 0%) to sure (100%), those chances doesn't necesarily have to be presented as fully complementary. Let's say that in certain semifinals there are 3 pretty equally- and highly skilled players, which by the way is true ( Thiem, Nadal, Federer) and one who is just a little less skilled ( Djokovic), actually that this is a BELIEF, ESTIMATION of things. If one uses stupid " parts of 100%" methodology/presentation, those better 3 would have ( let's say-) 30% each, and Djokovic just 10%, as if his chances are 3 times smaller, while he is max a double worse than them, as well as his chsnces compared to theirs. One can still however carefully calculate this, let's say that Djoker is 70% good compared to any of those other 3 (who are equally good between each other), so that Djokk's chances are 30% smaller than theirs, so 0,25 multiplied with with 0,7 is 0,175, 0,25 minus 0,175 is 0,075, and 1/3 of 0,075 is 0,025 which should be added to each 0,25 which makes 0,275. So, one could presented it as both Thiem, Nadal and Federer have 27,5 % chances to win, while Djokovic has 17,5%. But that's such a non representative presentation. My instead goes like this: What are chances that Nadal will win this tournament, is it more probably that he will or that he won't? Well, that he WILL (- of course, it's based on individual opinion), so his chances are (=should in that case be represented as-) bigger than 50%, let's say 70%, and so on, for each player ( Thiem's chances are around 50%, Djokk's under 50%, and so on). What do you think ( and sorry for my far from perfect english)?
