Suggestion: there’s no reason black can’t be a major part of his new wardrobe. Dark colors in better fitting outfits are going to be way more sophisticated while not feeling foreign to Shane. You can slowly add pops of colors with different shirts. Something as simple as switching out graphic tees for pocket tees will elevate his looks 1000%!

I humbly believe Shane could be correct that a stylist puts together some outfits that work with people with Shane's proportions (not measurements). Styling to proportions would work bcuz it will make most of all Shane's accomplishments & teach him what looks best no matter his "size."

It's a real struggle getting past your own mental blocks but I'm proud you're stepping out of your comfort zone, Shane. You're the most real person out here and you've been a big help in getting past my own mental blocks.

the most respect to Ryland for being a patient, respectful, and supportive partner. those of us who have dealt with body image issues know how insane it can be, but it's especially tricky for those around us who don't see what we see and just want to help. Shane, this is proof of your evolution - the work you've done on yourself absolutely shows and I couldn't be more proud of/happy for you - keep pushing; it only gets better

Ya’ll should do a video hiring an actual stylist! Would love to see that. Stylists also usually cater to finding clothes that suit your body type so that would be interesting to see!

I think Shane looks so good in that striped shirt! So many of those other looks too. You can tell it's just an uncomfortably drastic change for him because he hasn't stepped out of his comfort zone in so long. I truly believe he has a hard time seeing himself the way others do.

As someone who has gained weight before and resisted buying clothes that fit me for so long, I'm so proud of you. Like genuinely it's a hard thing to do but it's a big step in recovery and I'm so proud. Also wearing clothes that actually fit you make you look better than when you wear clothes that are too small so that's a positive

The brown jacket Shane had on in the store was the WINNER! He looked his age and great. He look put together without putting too much effort in👏🏻 Also the Brown compliments his hair in my opinion.

If Shane had his own brand of pj’s I would buy them. He’s helped me be comfortable in my own skin and to try new things whether if it’s lounge wear or something fancy. He’s everything and this relationship is inspirational.

I'm late to the party but I loved all of these outfits! The striped shirt was amazing. The peacoat is super cute. Pink hoodie is a winner. The white coat is a keeper. I also really liked the blue jeans. Definitely need other shoes though.

Oversized clothes too
I went to the mall, got some better fitting shirt, and not a single one was black. They were all bright colors. I'm so proud of myself yall don't even know
I feel brighter too
A bit less depressed
It's amazing what the color of clothing can do for somebody

He looked so very amazing in every single outfit he tried on. That being said, Shane, wear what you feel comfortable in. That’s what makes you who you are. I love that Shane is venturing out and trying new things. It is hard to break out in something you are not used to. It would be great to see a video where he has a stylist pick out some outfits for him to try on. I loved the Princess Diaries reference. And kudos to Shane for being willing to step out of his comfort zone and try some new outfits on! I do think it would be really helpful for Shane to get tips and tricks from a Stylist (they offer this service free at Nordstrom and other department stores) where the stylist can help Shane find wardrobe pieces for any occasion that compliment his physique and will make him feel confident and comfortable. 💗 And I love the leopard print luggage! 😍 And you should have stuck with black and hints of color… that is how I had to start branching out from a solely black wardrobe.
