Jordan has the best legacy, making him the "greatest" of all time. He also changed the NBA in ways that arent possible anymore today.
BUT.. Lebron is the "best" basketball player of all time. Lebrons all around skill has never been seen. His combination of speed, size, strength, scoring, passing, durability, longevity, IQ and just total mass of stats as well as consistent trips to the playoffs/finals. Ive got MJ as my "GOAT," but Lebron as my "BOAT." 😂
People Clearly don't understand.
LeBron is 3-6 in the playoffs
but how are you going to blame LeBron for his record? Take 2017-2018 Finals LeBron had literally been tirelessly working through 1-3rd rounds and then has to face the most OP team in the NBA. Or how about 2014-2015 when both Kyrie and Kevin Love were injured and LeBron still managed to take Warriors to 6 games by himself. Now there are a couple Final appearances where LeBron had no excuse for losing. But you guys blatantly bring up LeBron's Playoffs record when comparing him to Jordan. Jordan had a good team behind him everytime he was in the Playoffs or have you guys forgot he couldn't get in it until Scottie Pippen joined? Even LeBron was getting into the playoffs even with no other good players so OF COURSE his record is gonna be worse.
LeBron doesn't score as much as Jordan because he's no doubt a better passer than Jordan. LeBron is a better rebounder than Jordan. Physically and Mentally LeBron is Better
But Athletically, Defensively, and Offensively Jordan is Better.

So MJ lead the league in scoring 10 times, made all-defensive team 9 times (by the way that's tied with GP for the most all time), and even lead the league in steals 3 times, but LeBron is the better overall player? I'm not even factoring in the rings. MJ was both the best offensive AND the best defensive player when he stepped on the court. But LeBron is the better overall player???? I respect LeBron's game but WHAT?????
after 6 months of research I have found that MJ is better then LJ if we measure by about 90% of all metrics.

I can’t take this conversation seriously because it’s all gonna be about who you grew up watching, people in the 80s-90s era gonna stick with Jordan no matter what, people in the 70s gonna stick with Kareem people in the 60s gonna stick with wilt or bill and people in the 2000s, 2010s gonna stick with lebron that’s how it is 🤷🏻♂️

Basketball was way different back in the day. You couldn’t take 3 steps to shoot, it was more aggressive, and they actually played defense. The stats with Jordan are slightly worse because Lebron is in an era where the NBA wants to see more points so basically it’s where if you play defense it’s a foul. MJ will be the greatest player to ever live for a while.
Saying Jordan best the Magic Johnson and the Lakers is misleading. The second best player on that team was james worth and Magic was getting towards the end of his career. The competition that Lebron has played in the finals is far greater than jordans in my opinion

Jordan was 6-0 cause he played in the harder conference. He either got knocked out by the pistons or had easy team from the west to beat in the finals. Lebron has been the exact opposite. His path to finals has always been easy that’s why he’s been in so many but the actual NBA finals he usually plays a juggernaut spurs or warriors team

K, Love The NBA lebron didn’t make the playoffs the first two seasons. That’s worse and he missed last year as well. I have seen other players with way more harsh injuries than a groin and carry their team to the playoffs. Lebron never got injured that’s his true gift he is a rare specimen. People actually find it insulting that they are saying lebron is the 2nd greatest of all time! Kareem,lebron, and Kobe are in the tier of debatable goats but my is another level.

Stephen and Max are so on their knees to Jordan. They constantly omit the ONLY reason Jordan got to the finals was because BIRD got old. Boston and the Pistons sent Jordan home every year. How many playoff series did Jordan lose?? They never mention that in their commentary EVER!! I’m not saying Jordan was dominant. What I’m saying is Stephen A always bring up the 2 situation LBJ coming up short. While omitting all those years Jordan was getting bumped and sent fishing early. For the record IMO Wilt was the best player ever. Boston had the best teams back then. They changed the game to make it harder for Wilt. Where the changed it to make it easier for Jordan. Jordan played for a great organisation coach and team mates compare to Lebron. In a way Jordan had an advantage in his career. Don’t forget Jordan had Pippen the best defender of all time.
Wow, thats your best? Jordan stayed in one place to build a good organization. Zero championships before Jordan. Jordan had more def awards and stats than Pippen. Magic bird Jordan Kareem and Jordan went against tougher competition. No one was really wilt’s height, he mostly went up against a bunch of short white boys. Btw wilt chamberlain got absolutely outplayed and dominated by Kareem in the 1972 WCF, check the stats for yourself.
