Jonathan Kuminga played the whole end of 4th quarter and I didn't expect that he would lead the points this fast! A beast inside the paint and a marksman beyond the three point line! What a great basketball player! Hope that Warriors would help KJ improve his skills more he is a great asset for the team

Curry isn’t relying heavily on threes which is good. He is more than threes, yeah he is the best shooter of all time of course but he is assisting, shooting midranges and rebounding helping his team. He doesn’t need to score 30 points this year for his team to win like last year, instead do other stuff. Steph also has a possible injury on both his hands! It’s not that serious I hope but that’s why he is relying on the midrange more, because he can’t really shoot from deep range because when he flicks his wrist it could hurt, that’s also why he is hitting short in most his threes.

    • Blaiyan
      Blaiyan Il y a 4 mois

@The Champ Draws I was specifically addressing the "relying heavily on three's" part.

    • toruk makto
      toruk makto Il y a 4 mois

Aint no injury he's just having a shooting slump, but glad to see he decided to change up his approach tonight. If he reverts to just chuckin up threes after this you'll see the warriors revert to losing and playing terrible bball.

    • The Champ Draws
The Champ Draws Il y a 4 mois

@Blaiyan yeah a bad percentage but when you look at the fact that he went 7-16 from the field, he went 4-5 from midrange and 1-1 from layups...the midrange is working for him and is keeping his FG percentage from completely sinking to the trenches, I mean he did score 39 two games ago so hopefully that could have been the beginning of the end to this slump. He hasn't been a high volume scorer but he's slowly becoming more efficient again. Also facilitating more...

    • Blaiyan
      Blaiyan Il y a 4 mois +1

Actually he is but they're just not going in. He shot 2/10 from three.

I like how Curry and Klay are sharing the ball to the rookies. They are clearly getting better. If Kuminga works hard enough he can become a player like Giannis, don't get me wrong im not saying he will be this good but he will be a star in the like.

hopefully there's enough games left before the playoffs for the warriors to fully integrate klay thompson back into their line up. You can see the effect right after he got back that there's still adjusting. From being super dominant they had to make some space and lost some of their dominance. Not saying klay is a bad player but you dont just win basketball games coz there's individuals with good skill.

  • Break Ankles

Steph Curry played a great game. I guess hes starting to understand his role, now that Draymond Green is out. Expanding his game, he had but rarely use, will lead to Curry scoring more efficient.

    • Harder Way
      Harder Way Il y a 4 mois +1

Mavs team is trash. GSW players're not so famous and attractive, both Curry and Clay play on 70%, but the team is the best in the league, they work so well together. All the guys play very hard, tactics're great, they move the ball so fast, kids're strong in the paint and the bunch of great shooters they have. I mean, it's joy to watch them play this season. As a die hard Jokic fan, I really hope for Warriors to win the title.

  • The Bad Gamer Montana
The Bad Gamer Montana Il y a 4 mois +5

Let’s realize Warriors fans yes Curry is in a slump 1. Happy to have it now and not later 2. He is playing point Green would usually do that 3. We just beat Mavs by 30+

  • Rhiza Jhane

I didn't expect Stephen Curry will also be looking good changing his game from 3 to jumpshots, filling in his assists and rebounds stat sheet. I think this time people who say he is only a three pointer will shut their mouths shut.

    • maxiqum s1
      maxiqum s1 Il y a 4 mois

the problem is he is not a shooter anymore, and he is undersized to continue making 2-point jumpshots. It’s good in the crunchtime when everybody are exhausted, but he’s losing his gravity. And other guys are not really great offensively without wideopen shots

Dallas has potential but the team is not clicking. They play worse as a team as you should expect from that talent in players.

This would lead to an average players winning over great players. As this was mentioned earlier, 130 points but best scorer had 22. Was this MVP performance? As a team, yes. But it's hard to pick single player responsible for that. This is why teams with great duos win MVP less often than teams with lone Star.
