How could the 3rd party be more vilified than the cheater? Said degenerate was also in a position of power and he has the responsibility to keep his integrity. Bill should have taken the brunt of the public backlash as he is the one bestowed with trust of American citizens.

There might be a silver lining here, besides her motivational work, now that Bill may be implicated in the Epstein case, she would be a good character witness against him.....if she's up for it, it would mean more media attention...

I sometimes wonder how her story would have played out in modern times. The scandal happened during the height of toxic masculinity and it showed. If I had to guess it would still be really hard on her, but at least she might have more support.

I think Monica is a hero and I think young women should look up to her on overcoming obstacles in their lives because what she is overcoming can laugh about a lot of people commit suicide over I think she is a very competent and very composed individual who is comfortable in her own skin and I applaud her very much when I first saw the John Oliver story I told my daughter who's 26 if that is one effing bitch and when I was done watching the show I was all but crying for her and I think she is great thank you very much

I'm paraphrasing but "Nobody has ever asked Bill Clinton to change his name"... Powerful. Before I heard her say that I thought she should have DEFINITELY changed her name. Complete 180. Good for you Monica.
PS. I really love that she swore a few times during the interview. Definitely punches home that she's a real person.

It really is a testament to how bad it can be in that I only vaguely know of Monica Lewinsky from the phrase "The Monica Lewinsky case" I never knew anything about what it really was, I just knew it was probably bad.

It's horrible that she was labelled that way, but I just love how amazing she handles it all. She seems incredibly well-adjusted considering all of it.

I thought even when she was younger she was cute and I remember how the comedians said she was ugly and people laughed about it. I always disagreed about that. and i never even cared to even know what happened between her and the president. the only thing i could think of was Bill's chasing that girl because what hes got at home is a cold hearted woman.

The more I hear it I realize how I didn't get it sooner. "Republicans have NO IDEAS." None that might represent the vast majority. Progressives have all the ideas that might benefit the majority. Republicans just wait until the next time they can get close to the treasury to rifle it. How many times does it have to happen? They have no ideas because ...THEY DON'T REPRESENT US. The money for our ideas has to come from the 1% and that's all republicans care about, us we're a by product of their benefits. This isn't equivocation, its objective fact.

I have been sickened by how Monica was treated since day one. She was set up and used by Linda Tripp, Clinton took advantage and used her, media was merciless as well as the general population was so shitty to her for years, even to this day. It's so wonderful to see that she ended up on top of all the bullshit, is so strong and an amazing woman and the best thing is she has a sense-of-humor about the entire mess. I don't even know her but I'm so damn proud of her.

that whole "worst aunt ever" bit is a perfect example of the one simple reason why i'm against public shaming: because no matter what, people will always always always always *ALWAYS* get everything about everything completely fucking wrong, no matter how many times someone goes on TV and tries to set the record straight.

I mean to be fair with the Clinton things she was involved in cheating with the president of course it’s gonna be made fun of for a long time. It’s unfair how much she got over Clinton but still of course people are going to react that way especially when it happened.
Also a lot of public shaming is a result of fake news and how quickly news outlets blow things way out of proportion the Fox News example was spot on they need to stay in the 24 hour cycle and create controversy

Quite frankly, the fact that Monica got so much hate is appalling. That creep Bill Clinton deserved all of that hate. Every. Bit. Of. It. He took advantage of her and people bullied that poor girl for something that Bill was also responsible for. He was the PRESIDENT, for Christ’s sake. Thank god she’s doing better today. That is a strong, beautiful woman and I wish her all the best.

wow... she's actually a beautiful person. (and i don't mean that physically (although IMO, she's is that as well)) but man, we can all learn something from her strength and her amazing ability to turn something that must have felt like her own personal end of the world into something so positive and really take ownership of a horrifying event that no one besides her could even imagine to a whole new level. She just became someone I remember from childhood as being the never-ending butt of a joke (I remember those literal day-in, day-out Jay Leno jokes) into someone I absolutely look up to. Bravo Monica Lewinsky, bravo!

“...and Hillary might be president.” With How Hillary and her PUMAs tried to paint her as pro woman she absolutely wasn’t and still isn’t. She has quite a few women to apologize to before she can even attempt to call herself pro woman. Just being a woman yourself, when you’re as privileged as Hillary is, is not enough.
Imagine being unemployable because another woman was elected president?
