Is anyone getting suspicious that the big three are still winning all the grandslams? I've seen many young players who are excellent and yet somehow perform below their level against the big 3. I do also realise that the big 3 have considerable clout/wealth in the tennis arena... how real are the results of GS nowadays, really, when there is every reason for one of the big 3 to win because let's face it, the day 1 of them stops winning totally or retires is the day MANY people will lose LOTS of money.

I have watched the whole game again, because I suffered three heart attacks live, I needed oxygen, and I could not enjoy it. I have to say wow! What a match! The best I've ever seen!

Daniil is surely a confident young man, but someone needs to warn him that his confidence is bordering on arrogance at times. It might be a language or culture thing, but he seems really awkward and smug sometimes.

Still remember that day I did not sleep all day watching the first set until the fourth set, but was too nervous and afraid to watch the results of the last set, so I chose to turn off the tv and go into the bedroom, just keep praying to God to give a miracle so nadal could win this match, because I hope Rafa win so badly, I am so happy when I turn on the tv and see the trophy ceremony for him. Thanks God and congratulations my Idol. You deserve to win and for me you are "GOAT" Of Tennis World. Welcome to 20th grand slam next year. Vamos Rafa

I finally appreciate Nadal as a player. I never knew why I didn't seem to like him maybe it's because he's to much like me but for one reason I disliked him.
    I know why now
Federer fans seemed nice and their comments were just.
Nadal's fans and comments have nearly always been proud arrogant and " Nadal is the goat "
So based on the unkind Nadal supporters I choose to support the weaker player or rather support the player who had kinder comments .
I believe Nadal is a better fighter stronger and more passionate about tennis, his noise grunts are for sure louder lol.
He's such a good player and on clay he seems to step up another LEVEL higher and better than anyone ever.
Anyway I hope Federer and Nadal both retire on equal slams.
I hate how they are always compared to each other to see who's the best.
If Medvedev can win slams and take the focus away from them it would be good.
Anyway goats go to hell in the bible so why does Nadal want to be the goat lol

Federer is like God of Tennis with literally no weaknesses but Nadal is like a normal human with weaknesses (Like serve) but has defeated The God many times. Superb RAFA.

Didnt or did make a statement, Medvedev?.
On one hand its his first final but shouldn't have allowed Raphael to escape in the 5th set as his hard court prowess not near his clay.I think one that Medvedev will defenitely rue .

Can Nadal pull off another US Open to become the 4th man in Open era to have 5 titles? I want to see Nadal get the Aus open to tie Fed's 20 titles. What a feat it will be.

Good for Rafa, congratulations!!!!!! I'm not Tennis fan, neither Rafa nor Djoker nor Roger....however in my opinion, even Rafa or Djoker win in the future 4 or 5 more GS other than Roger, there will be always one G.O.A.T in Tennis, that's Roger Federer. Why? Not only numbers give a G.O.A.T. definition, it's class, it's attitude, it's consistency, it's the love you have for the sport, it's perfection in the movements around a court, it's improvisation, it's creation, it's innovation...Rafa & Djoker are followers, Roger is the Leader...he reinvented Tennis, he has given to this sport a new standard, the rest are followers that can see new horizons that Roger discovered before them...now he's 38 years old, 3rd in the world, almost won Wimbledon, semifinals in his "worst"? surface (clay), and look at him, he's still playing HUGE matches against new generations...so...no doubt, Roger is the real G.O.A.T. and possibly it will require another 30-40-50 years to see again a phenomenon like Roger that can change again the way we look this sport...sorry for Nadal or Djoker fans, but you need to admit these 2 guys are followers, BIG machines, sometimes really bored...
