A French journalist declared that Serena didn't want to wait and asked to go to another room, but the organisers wanted her in there. They've said that they would ask Thiem to interrupt and her response was: This is very impolite. But they did it anyway. And now all around the press is her fault 🙄 Not one word about Federer hitting a guy with the ball. Not even in the British live transmission, the commentators said anything. One just said: ouch. Total explicit privilege.

Goku No, that’s not at all what I’m saying. Federer losing to Nadal on clay is nothing new. Everyone loses to Nadal on clay (except Djokovic, occasionally.) But all things considered, the score line could be a lot more one-sided.

The Fedal semi: First set is going to be close up to 5-4 to Nadal. And Nadal wins the first set 6-4. Second set we see a Federer playing himself up and hitting everything almost inch perfect, both from the backhand and forehand and he wins that set 6-3. Third set Nadal annihilates Federer 6-1 or 6-2. Fourth set is going to be close and maybe one of the best sets of tennis ever, and they break eachother once. We see some of the best rallies ever and Federer wins that set in a tiebreak. Fifth set is going to be close up to 3-3 and Federer or Nadal will win 6-3 or 6-4
The Djokovic-Thiem semi. The first set will be close and will be decited in a Tiebreak that Djokovic wins. Second set Thiem will show some of his most beastly and dominant tennis ever and will win that 6-2. Third set is going to be one of the best sets of tennis ever and Djokovic will win that in a tiebreak. Fourth set Djokovic will show who is the world number one and he will neutrolize Thiems brutal tennis and begin hitting bigger himself, Djokovic wins that set 6-4.
@Dang Giang Federer did his best, was at his best, apart from his firstserve. Nadal just played maybe his best match ever. Thiem COULD be doing a bit more damage, but not even enough to take a set i think if Rafa shows up with that level on sunday. Djokovic can take a set. But this is Rafas tournament now, after this performance. It was scary. Roger was the better player in many phases of especially the second set. Maybe i have watched too much Roger and little too little Rafa on clay to make a realistic judgement, Rafa on clay at this level is the best player when he plays on clay plus he has little problems with winds and the humidity made the court slower which favoured Nadal.

Why is everyone arguing about the placing of Thiem? Just because he do not have as many titles as the top 3 players (who are also much older than him) is he a unbelievably good player with great shots. I am sure that he will win lots of titles and grand slams in his approaching career /season.

And one other thing: the world ranking is about the POINTS and not about the won tournaments and obviously thiem has already collected so many points that he is able to be on the 4th place in the ranking. Of course Nadal and federer are top players too!! (otherwise they wouldn't be in the top 3)

Thiem has made a quarter-final at the US Open, which he was very close to winning, but again, the US Open has slower courts than AO or Wimbledon. He has potential to make slam semis and finals everywhere, but his game isn’t quite there yet.

Sorry but Thiem doesn't even have a Grand Slam title yet and tbh, even though he has potential, don't think he'll have one anytime soon. Murray comes back to competing soon so don't throw him out of the BIG 4 just yet, because he ain't so easily replacable and it's a bit disrespectful to him.

@Alex____ while it can be your opinion and I have a different one, unfortunately Thiem will have to "step up" a little bit and win some Grand Slams and other tournaments possibly to be considered to be a part of the "BIG 4". Nothing against him, I think he's a great player, but it's (at least for me personally) too soon to speak about someone replacing Murray. I mentioned Andy because the title says "BIG 4" which Andy was/is a part of.
