Sad for Roger but now it is grass season and like French Open to Rafa, Wimbledon is Roger's house.

Like always will be rooting for him to get that 21

Fed would be happy with how well he did on his return to RG - Rafa just too good on clay. Now it's on to Wimbledon!

Rafa is like a raginf bull this tournament. I was hoping Thiem will able to get his chance and win his first French but Nadal just made him feel necessary to aim for big shots EVERY point which is impossible! I could just see his energy draining out big shots after shots after big shots as Nadal just kep on returning them across the net!

The greatness of an athlete after a defeat. What a statement. The magnificence of the defeated increases the glory of the winner. Only a true great athlete would say that he cannot find someone to train in order to face Nadal.I bow to Mr Roger Federer.

Thiem will prove you wrong. You have lost the focus and intensity displayed by Thiem, Nadal, and Djokovic. You enter the court with hope not resolve as in exhibition tennis. You had no game plan and entered the court reconciled to the prospect of losing as your press-conference revealed. At no point in the match were you in control. Rafa dictated the play because you, inadvertently, let him.

Fognini innovated on how to completely dominate Nadal on clay in Monte Carlo. Federer and the others should study and train Fognini's strategies against the left-handed emperor on clay (like the long ball before the backhand winners) and, why not, even talk to Fognini about.éo.html

Imagine if someone had time traveled to today from the days of Sampras and you told them there's a guy who has won 15 Grand Slam titles. And then you tell them that there are 2 others who have won even more, and all 3 are active right now. They'd think you're insane until they saw it with their own eyes.

I think it's more an indictment on the young players. It looked to me that Kyrgios has the game to beat anyone. If he had been serious like Sampras, with a game like that, he would have dethroned the 3 already and be number 1. Even Tomic had the talent . But these two are just looking at tennis pretty casually. To each his own, but that contributes big time to why the top three are still the old guards. Tsisipas and Thiem have the mentality but not the same talent as Kyrgios. Zverev is also up and down in the mental department. So we'll see what they can do next year, though Thiem might not be as good as the old guys on grass.

Fed is the best, GOAT and he is nearly 38 y/o. Nadal is just king of clay. Hope thiem will do the difference. But Nadal always smell his own ass during serving the ball.. that's why he got the power of ass.. his style make the ball stinks and boom, distract federer...

Fed doesnt like windy air ,because he wants to play good and offensive tennis Nadal firstly think defensive side of tennis and his ball truely disturb everyplayer ın my opinion not seems good shots like veteran style.honestly unbeatable ın clay court .For future of the tennis some conditions weather and surface have not deeply tennis conditions Atp has to study for this and shorten tennis match time.

People should not call rafa d clay goat and roger d goat cz out of d 3 surfaces he has never beaten rafa in roland garros whereas rafa has beaten him in wimbeldon and Australian open as well here .. that is all d surfaces..Goat is d one who has beaten d best and clearly fed cant beat rafa on clay and also rafa has 6 more masters 1000 and olympic gold plus age difference of 5 years with him and surely he will chase his number down. And argument that fed is old now that is why rafa is winning is also bullshit cz federer won 12 grandslams when rafa novak was not there .. against Hewitt safin and roddick. RAFA Has won all when there will all great competitors..and also h2h 😎😎... Goat of Tennis - Rafa 👑👑

The wind favors someone who spins like Nadal and defends like Nadal. Add that clay is a better surface for his game, add that he is a leftie, add that he is younger, add that he is a great player,... Roger never had a chance.

I think Djokovic. He is a bit younger and has less injury problems. He also has more dominance on the hardcourts and grass- 3 out of 4 majors. Rafa is good on those surfaces but Djokovic is slightly better.

Not making excuses but it does affect Federer's game more. Nadal's shots are so heavy that they are less likely to be picked up by the wind
